YIPEEE, I have made some progress with jap study so I shall take a break from all that JAPPY KANJI and blog! (my outdated posts. LOL) Okay, during the past few weeks, I have watched 2 movies! :) not including the ones I watched at home. That would be like 100++ hahah, just kidding. :)

First up is....

MEGAMIND!

I watched it with Vivian & Emily @ Bishan. LOL LOL, and since we missed the student's price thingy, we paid $8.50 for it! For an animation film! We could have watched Harry Potter but Vivian insisted on megamind so we watched it :) The movie was not bad, not a typical animated movie but then again it is quite a typical animated movie because all animation films try to make themselves not typical right? HAHAH, if you get what I am talking about, I applaud you. But I just had to say that random thought. HEEHEE. yup, it's quite funny too & Esther thinks it's DAMN nice so... let's give it up for METRO-CITY :)

We had dinner @ Ajisen and was just filling vivian on what she had missed while she went to Macau, FAM stuff, subject combi etc etc. Then we had this random spontaneous thought to go for a sleepover @ vivian's house, since it is rather empty now. :D After a few phone calls, we proceeded to Vivian's house! Walking to her house was quite scary 'cos the place was SSOOO DARKKK if someone popped out from behind a random tree I think I will get the shock of my life & scream. Luckily, there was no such person :) BUTBUT, while walking up a slope to her house I spotted something flying around and it was flying quite FAST & LOW so I was kinda scared. IF you are going to laugh at me for being scared of a bird YOU ARE SO WRONG! Because that black thing(S) that flies FAST & LOW @ vivan's house ARE BATS!! Totally WTS luh, 'cos they fly damn low it's like they are almost going to hit you IN THE FACE then they make an abrupt turn upwards!!! Hence, me & emily were screaming all the way to vivian's house & dragging her along 'cos she was like making it no big deal & walking slowly, telling us how "bats can hear you so they can sort of see you and won't hit you". LIKE I CARE!! WHAT IF THERE WAS A DEAF BAT?!? Reached her house, changed, watch tv (supernatural) till quite late then slept. :) Woke up next morning, ate breakfast, listened to some of vivian's stories then went home with em :D

SATURDAY

It was the indian/malay dance concert! I forgot the name of the concert and is too lazy to check it out so just bear with me for a bit. Met alanna, christine & crystal @ Thai express in j8. Wasn't really hungry so I had crystal share with me a set! YAY :) We were deciding what drink to share & since the avocado shake had 5stars (*****) and is some recommended thingy, we decided to give it a go. BAD CHOICE MAN! NOW I KNOW NEVER TO BELIEVE ALL MENUS WITH WHAT LAME "VOTED BEST" THING. Fine, maybe it is just me, but crystal, christine and alanna didn't like it too. So that means ALL of us didn't like it! HOW DID IT EVEN GET VOTED BEST PLUS 5* man! D; hence we played games to see which unlucky fella (actually just me and crystal) will have to drink it :D cheng yu & zhong ji mi ma. well, crystal was kinda unlucky or maybe she just didn't know her friends well enough 'cos the number that you choose normally is related to you right? Met up with the rest and walked to ri. The walk was QUITE long. And probably 'cos it was quite a LONG WALK IN RI itself. Like from one side of RI to RI(jc) or something.

PERFORMANCE WAS GOOD! They were all dancing so happily and lively! :) heehee, took some pictures then went to MACS for supper with christine, jiayun & grace.

MONDAY (22/11)

Watched HARRY POTTER 7 Part 1 :)

Actually I thought the movie was just so-so. Not exactly damn exciting and WOW but nevertheless, it IS a harry potter movie. Can't wait for next year so I can finally finish watching the harry potter series! Though I sort of got lost after the 2nd movie... But maybe this is part of the producer's plan, making the second last movie just okayokay so that the whole thing will end with a BANG! and everyone will be damn impressed or something. HEEHEE :)

Then had lunch at pastamania and we played MONOPOLY DEAL until like 5+. played for like 3h++ BUT it was fun, PLUS I like being RICHHHH! Lots & lots of millions! AHHAH :)

FAM

URGHH. I can't seem to do the FAM post 'cos it's gonna be a LONG one, and there's so many other things happening! ): Haiz, I wonder how Alanna still manages to update so frequently! OKAY, so I shall stop being lazy and start now!

FAREWELL ALMA MATTER :)

Went to Christine's house in the afternoon with Crystal & Jiayun. Played some cards while christine & jy took turns to bathe. Crystal and I also played a VERY SLOW game of SPEED. what a contradiction. hah. There was also an argument on whether:

1. Robin Hood's Robin is the same as the Robin in Batman & Robin.

2. Robin Hood is A FOX! (ROFL LIKE WHAT?!?!)

LOL, I was all in for argument 1. As in, the robins dress the same right? In green and with a pointy green hat or something. As for christine who is for argument 2, SINCE WHEN WAS ROBIN HOOD A FOX!?!? He was definitely a human who steals from the rich to help the poor what :)

Then we all did our makeup together, with jy the pro(since she had experience when she was doing ballet when she was young) coaching us. I used "CALL ME FISH GIRL" courtesy of christine's mom :) HAHAH. I think our makeups were all quite successful la, and we achieved this slightly more NATURAL LOOK. :D

Reached the hotel and there were already quite a handful of girls standing around the hotel lobby in their dresses & everyone was just busy snapping away! Yea, of course I wasn't an exception :) SNAPS & MORE SNAPS LATER, we were finally about to eat! The food wasn't exactly the best and totally worth me spending the whole time munching away so in between dishes many people were actually also walking around to do ONE THING - TAKING MORE PICTURES. Jan's performance was awesome and the whole class actually rushed on to stage to give her a hug. heehee, at least I managed to get on stage :D RIGHT, somebody in our FAM table actually won the lucky draw! ticket no. 302! which also = esther so! despite her coming in late 'cos she was watching some kdrama and tearing her ticket and only registering after we told her to do so, SHE WON THE FREAKING IPOD NANO!! and it was so close to mine 'cos I was 303. :\ ohwells, at least our table had some action going on :) must share ah esther!!!

AFTER A WHOLE LOADS OF CAMWHORING,

FAM officially came to an end. But there were still a lot of people just hanging around and taking more pics. :) Overall, FAM was really a fun experience. Afterall, this is like the first official prom-like thing I have ever been too. Compared to the Americans or something it's kinda lame since they have like homecoming and so many dances a year. Even though shopping and preparing for it may be a little frustrating and worrying, almost everyone looked great and all the pictures taken can last a lifetime :D

@ christine's house for post-fam with jy,grace,esther&crystal was pure fun and laughter. Scared ourselves with this little corner that was very dark and dubious along the staircase. It was somewhat a place where JU-ON (that pale looking boy ghost) would hide. EWWW, sending chills down my spine man! Stayed up playing cards, taboo, taupoking, sushi rolling etc. ;D heehee, until christine said "EH... yall go sleep leh, if yall dun sleep i also cannot sleep leh. cos if i sleep already, yall will GO OUT OF CONTROL" (as quoted from crystal's blog. but this line is like so LOL EPIC WIN, must post :)) HAHAH, what did she think we would do man! so we did go to sleep @ 3+ and woke up @ 8+ for macs breakfast. There was a little error with the delivery but all was fine in the end. Watched Mr & Mrs Smith while eating but I ended up dozing off & only woke up after it ended :) heehee, played MONOPOLY where I was SOOO RICH! Partly due to the fact that both crystal and christine went to jail on the first round and missed out on the properties!! HEEHEE! If only I'm as rich in real life ); LOL and playing monopoly with crystal is the BEST MAN! heehee, she's so nice and naive. HAHAH. Took more pics before leaving christine's humble abode. Ate at parkway before leaving for home and thus ending the very fun PRE-FAM, FAM & POST-FAM );

holidays (II)

heehee 1 post was obviously not enough to record down all the events that had happened so here's the part 2.

3) PRIMARY SCHOOL GATHERING

Hmms, after the graduation, I met up with some of the girls from my p6 class (tammie, rosanne, saiying, deorah, grace). hahah it was really great to see them after so LONG! Seriously! But everyone was pretty much the same, character wise, looks wise (haha maybe prettier) and so it was really fun to catch up with them. Ate superdog at 313 somerset then went to scape thinking there was a basketball court but no... it was gone! hahah, so ended up eating(red mango and then handburger), sitting at the skate park looking at dudes skating while chatting. But grace and deb had to leave early so me, saiying & ros decided to go saiying's house to play bball, since we already brought a ball. hahha, yepps, relived some good old memories there. That day was a pretty awesome one. :)

Those who came :) for those who didn't, you girls were missed.

4) RANDOM OUTING
One of the days then, me, christine, kelly and emily went for lunch @ souperlicious. Then we met nico and alanna :) emily went home while the rest of us legal 16 year olds went to watch the social network. It was kinda cool but overall not a movie that really interests me. ohwell. but we took some

pictures after that and yea, feels good to hangout tgt again :)

5)O LEVELS

Oh, how can I forget, we had chinese o levels on 10th November! Hahah, it was like the only o level paper I took this year and though zhtk was relatively okay, the rest were kinda weird... So yea, I'm gonna have to keep my fingers crossed for an A :)

6) HAJI LANE

Yepps, one of the days after o's I went to Haji lane with some great people :) The things there were relatively on the pricier side but yea, we had fun looking at them and the layout and designs of the shops. Even met Nico. hahah, what a small world, I mean country. :D Oh, we took neos too! HEEHEE. And we were at this shop where grace was trying a dress and when she asked the shop keeper how much the dress was, we all heard $13.90. So everyone was in this frenzy, encouraging grace to buy the dress because seriously, if there was a dress for only 13.90, IT IS MAD CHEAP! Besides, the dress was pretty okay so why not? In the end, when paying, the woman said the dress was $30.90. LOL, then everyone was like ohhh... HAHAH. Shopped around at bugis street later and bought a present for jiayun :)

7)SHOPPING

Yep, this shopping trip was kinda spontaneous and the aim was to help kelly shop for her FAM stuff. Because if we didn't drag her out to shop, who knows what would she wear to FAM? heehee, yep, made her try some dresses but she didnt like them ); so she decided to be a cheapo and lazyass and stopped trying dresses, insisting to wear cailyn's dress instead. HAIZ, so to make the trip worth it, me and christine brought kelly to shop for accessories :) had dinner at vivo before bussing home :)
